Easter is very early this year. My back yard is still covered with snow and I don't think the temperature will go above 30 degrees today. Still I am hopeful of warmer, sunnier days to come.
My name is THERESA and here is my story.
I'm fascinated by plants, perhaps as a result of growing up on a small farm in Maryland. My father planted a large vegetable garden, but what intrigued me most was my mother's small flower bed filled with cosmos, zinnias, coxcombs and gladiolas. Now I am passionate about my own flower beds and spend many hours planting, pruning, and weeding. Each plant is unique and I try to capture and preserve these unique features through flower pressing and photography. I use pressed plant material and photographs to create framed art pieces and bookmarks.
This blog is about plants and people. Sometimes I'll talk about gardening, indoors and out. Sometimes I'll talk about flower pressing, creating pressed flower art or crafting ideas. I'll also sometimes talk about my observations of life, the people I encounter and everyday events that impact my life.
